Alexandra Volp

Alexandra Volp serves as the Director for the Washington DC Metro Region at BENS. In this role, she is responsible for building upon a strong BENS network of existing members to recruit, retain, involve and grow the membership base in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland.

Alexandra has over 14 years of experience in the military and veteran non-profit community. Prior to joining BENS, she managed Development and Major Gifts efforts at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). Previously, she served as Director of Warriors Ethos, supporting the effective transition experience for wounded, ill or injured service members, and held multiple roles in 11 years at the United Service Organizations (USO) Headquarters. While at the USO she led program development and management, and strategic support of the military and their families.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Alexandra is a New York native and resides in Alexandria, VA with her family.
