Peter Crail

Peter joined BENS as a Policy/Projects Director in August 2019 after working for over a decade on national security issues in government and the non-profit sector. Most recently, he worked with the U.S. national laboratories on nuclear proliferation challenges, and served as a Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
